Faith and Daily Life

with The Reverend Dr. Andrew K. Barnett
Sundays at 9 am in Lower Sweetland Hall | September 20 - October 4

What does faith look like, Monday through Saturday? What are meaningful ways for Christians put their faith into practice? How might we each seek personal transformation, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so we can participate in God’s reconciliation and restoration of creation?

This class seeks to retrieve, adapt, refine, and deploy Christian practices from our Anglican tradition so that we might be changed people for a changed world.

September 20: Music and Worship
September 27: Prayer Practices

October 4: Pastoral Care and Life Together

Who Am I Becoming?

Who am I becoming—and where might God be in that becoming?

Join us for eight Sunday conversations exploring questions we carry throughout our lives: belonging, identity, failure, courage, and purpose. Each week, a biblical story will become doorway into reflection, conversation, and discernment, alongside occasional poetry, art, music, and contemporary voices.

Inspired in part by this season of renewal in the life of our parish, this is not a traditional Bible class, but a welcome space to listen, wonder, share our stories, and learn from Scripture and from one another.

All ages are welcome. No biblical knowledge or preparation required.

There will be no class on October 25.

Education for Ministry

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based upon small-group study and practice. Since its founding in 1975, this international program has assisted more than 80,000 participants in discovering and nurturing their call to Christian service.

EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together. All Saints’ has long been an active member of the EfM program.
