What is the Vestry at All Saints’?
The Vestry is the leadership body responsible for the Parish. The Vestry consists of twelve members of the Parish and the Rector. Elected Vestry members represent the whole Parish in major areas of decision-making, helping to discern the kind of Parish we are called to be. In addition to passing an annual budget and overseeing the financial affairs of All Saints,’ the Vestry works with the clergy and staff to help identify opportunities for outreach, stewardship and growth in our Parish, as well as to lead in those areas. Those who have served on the Vestry have often found it an experience that has helped them grow in service and in faith.
What does the Vestry do?
Being on the Vestry involves a very substantial commitment of time and effort, even more during this season of change.
