Qualifications

To be considered by the Nominating Committee, a person must:

  • Be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

  • Be confirmed in the Episcopal Church according to the canons.

  • Be sixteen years of age or over and an active member of All Saints’ Parish.

  • Be a pledging member for at least three years including the current year. 

  • Be supportive of God’s work at All Saints’.

  • Have been significantly involved as a volunteer in an organized All Saints’ ministry.

Vestry members come from all walks of life, but all share a profound love for All Saints’.

Different Vestry members bring different skills, talents, and gifts to the Body of Christ.
But certain attributes greatly contribute to success:

  • Proven, spiritually mature leader 

  • A servant’s heart

  • The desire to be a positive ambassador

  • The willingness to lead

  • Good listening skills and patience

  • Team player

  • The ability to hear and minister to hurt or angry individuals—a “thick skin”

Nominations

Nominations can be submitted online, in person, by mail, or by email.

Completed nominations must be submitted by Friday, November 1, 2024 at midnight PST.

Paper forms are available at the Welcome Table on the patio on Sunday mornings.
